The 2.2m sq ft unit at the 70 acre London Distribution Park in Essex is the Uk's first four-storey warehouse and, standing at 70 ft , the tallest building of its type.
Amazon will incorporate its latest technology including Kiva robots that can carry large heavy parcels.
