Tesco redeveloped its existing site at West Durrington to double its retail floorspace in a Tesco EXTRA store and create a number of additional retail/food units such as WHSmith, Costa and Subway.
David Lloyd Leisure has a Health and Fitness and Racquets Club approx 0.5 miles from Fulbeck Way. Also, a major redevelopment of the Northbrook College campus at West Durrington is nearing completion and on an adjacent site Caffyns has developed its new VW dealership.
The site benefits from a planning consent AWDM/0618/11 for creation of an A3 restaurant/cafe unit of of 14,262 sq.ft (incorporating a mezzanine area of 2,960 sq.ft), an A1 retail/cafe unit of 2,884 sq.ft and parking for 30 cars, plus disabled parking, motorcycle parking, cycles and delivery vehicles.
